How ACT sales work
- Contract ready before you advertise: under the Civil Law (Sale of Residential Property) Act 2003, the contract and its required documents must be complete before your home is advertised. Your conveyancer or lawyer prepares it.
- Required documents include the crown lease, certificate of title, deposited plan, building and compliance inspection report, pest inspection report, energy efficiency rating (EER) statement, and asbestos advice for older homes.
